Withdrawal of Student Pass |
Withdrawal of Student PassStudent withdrawing their studies must report to IS Office one month prior to departure, fill up withdrawal form, and obtain the signatory for the deposit refund (if applicable) and approval from the Registrar. Students are to bring confirmed air ticket and photocopy for Malaysian Immigration Department processing. Student who defers studies will have their student pass cancelled. Student to report to IS Office otherwise a police report will be lodged to effect the cancellation of the student pass. |
New Passport |
When you have a new passportIf you renew/change your passport, please transfer your student pass to the new passport immediately. Your student pass will not be valid in the old passport. Bring your old and new passport/s to IS Office so that its staff will advise you on what to do. |
Return Home / Holiday |
Return Home Country / HolidayStudents’ wishing to return home/holiday must submit their passports to IS Office 3 months prior to the expiry date of their student passes and bring a copy of a confirmed air ticket 2 weeks before departing for Immigration processing. |
Transfer College of Studies |
Transfer College of StudiesStudents who wish to change colleges after they have obtained visas will need to obtain approval from the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia and Malaysian Immigration Department. Students need to bring his/her passport to IS Office for processing the cancellation of student pass and getting the release letter. Once the student pass has been cancelled, the student need to bring to the new college his/her passport for processing a new application with the new college. If the student didn’t informed the college, a police report will be lodge against the student. The college will not be liable for anything which might happen to the student. |
Working |
Working in MalaysiaForeign students are not allowed to work in Malaysia during their course of study. |
