Arrival Procedure

Airport Pick-up & Procedure

Upon approval of application, students need to notify Elite international College (EIC) about their flight details (e.g. schedule and information) at least 1 week before their arrival. A college representative will pick-up the students from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) / Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) and do the immigration clearance for them. On arrival, students are advised to wait at the immigration office at KLIA/LCCT airport.

As Malaysia imposes exchange controls, students are not allowed to bring into the country a large amount of Malaysian Ringgit. Students will be required to declare the amount of currency that they bring into the country. Students are therefore advised to bring along with them the currency of their home country and perform the currency exchange in Malaysia later or use Traveller’s Cheques.
